동갑내기 부부의 슬기로운 시골 성생활 !

‘아지트 만들기’

시원하게 커피한잔을 때려주고
박력있게
매끈한 빠루를 손에쥐고
호기롭게
폐가의 근원인 지붕을 뜯기 시작했다.

지금 생각해보면
무식해서 용감한거였다.

“그냥 하자!”

우리 부부는 이런 마음으로
늘 함께하고 있다.

엉망징창 이여도
더럽고 땀냄새 나도
같이 땀딱아주고
내일은 더 ‘성장해있을꺼야! 서로를 다독이며
괜찮다 안아준다.’

지붕을 수리하고 철거하는 과정의 감정은
‘해탈’이다.
비워도 비워지지않는..

EP.0 〈Making Our Hideout〉

We started with a good cup of coffee,
grabbed a shiny crowbar,
and with way more confidence than we probably should have had…

we started tearing apart the roof
of what was basically a haunted house. 😂

Looking back now…

I guess we were brave because we had no idea what we were doing.

“Let’s just do it!”

That’s pretty much how we’ve always been together.

Even when everything is a complete mess,
even when we’re covered in dirt and sweat,
we wipe each other’s sweat away and say,

“Tomorrow, we’ll be a little better than today.”

We encourage each other.
We tell each other, “It’s okay.”
And sometimes, we just give each other a hug.

But the feeling you get
while repairing and tearing apart a roof?

Pure enlightenment. 😂

You throw things away,
and somehow… there’s always more.

No matter how much you clear out,
it never seems to be empty.

Maybe houses are a little like life.

Sometimes you have to tear things down
and make some space
before something new can finally come in.

So today, once again—

“Let’s just do it!”

We’re slowly, clumsily,
and happily building
our little hideout. 🏡
